This exquisite statue depicts Bonaparte entering Cairo during his campaign in Egypt and is believed to be made in the year 1897. Priced at $198,000, this work of art employs an ancient technique  known as “chryselephantine” and the inner part of the statue is wood and it has also been overlaid with gold and ivory. Measuring around 16 and a half inches high, the neoclassical statue can be purchased from Rau Antiques and has an inscription which reads  ”Siot-Decauville Fondeur Paris”.
