The images below show you a Fovea Architects creation, the Crooked House, which seems to be a regular Swiss home that just happens to have tumbled over. But the Crooked House isn’t upside down, and looking at it from a closer angle we discover its magic. We have at a two-story home that has an interestingly shaped second floor. The floor in question is inclined at a 40-degree angle but thanks to those huge windows the views upstairs are incredible. Those large windows will let in plenty of light during the day, while also guarding your privacy in the process. And we also assume the inside of this unusual home is filled with out-of-the-box furniture ideas, although the images that we currently have mostly focus on the exterior. Via Fovea Architects

Relumine Project Unites Old Lamps Forever
The Relumine project is a very good-looking lighting concept that uses two old lamps at a time connected by a longer glass tube to light up the space around them. It almost looks like the two lamps, which are, in most cases, of different sizes, are talking to each other through light and the general effect is awesome. It kind of reminds me about Pixar’s Luxo lamp, without all that jumping. The Relumine is said to use less energy thanks to the glass tube than the two lamps combined would consume if they would be working separately which is another reason to consider this particular lighting design. The Cabinet is a godsend for the messy and believe me there is a method in its design madness. Designed by Misha Kahn, the Cabinet keeps the chaos in check as it has been laser-cut in shapes of objects that can be stored in it. Inspired by the mess around her bedroom, Kahn printed out life size puzzle pieces and arranged them into this curiously designed cabinet.It measures 7 feet’ 6″ inches high and is made of laser cut mdf, pink foam, fiberglass and polystyrene. he interior is painted and flocked, with hardwood (dovetailed) drawers, and door.

Manifold Clock Tells Time In 3D
Telling time the conventional way is so passe in this 3D era. The Manifold Clock is one of the most unique time pieces that I have come across and is a testament to the creative impulses of the folks of the Studio Ve. The idea is to display time in 3D and and this is achieved by connecting the two hands with a piece of tyvek that unleashes an abstract form which changes by the minute. The impudently designed clock resurrects the hackneyed wall clock quite brilliantly and brings a sense of rare magical realism that is seldom associated with household accessories.
