Contemporary Country House for Luxury Living in Chile
Designed by Felipe Assadi + Francisca Pulido studio this contemporary country house is located in Calera Tango, Santiago, Chile. It’s built for a happy family on 4.5 Ha area with fruit trees only in one hour drive from capital. Concrete foundation wall that what elevates house from the ground includes a swimming pool and a basement. The first volume consist of public spaces like living and dining rooms. This volume is mostly covered by large gazing or with Larch wood. The second volume at the same time is a glass-and-concrete box which features more private sleeping areas. Glass used in the glazing is a thermo-pane glass with a green dye, which filters out ultraviolet rays and creates the greenhouse effect. Small Guest and Games House Design That Needs Minimum Maintenance
20×20 is a small guest house designed to accompany other project by the same architects located in Calera Tango, Santiago, Chile. Felipe Assadi’s company designed this house in the way that it only needs minimum maintenance. In spite of that the house consists of two bedrooms each one with bathroom, one kitchen with bar plus a living area that includes a pool table and a games table. Materials chose during construction not only easy to clean and not degrade but also perfectly blend with surround landscape. It also has floor-to-ceiling transparent walls that frame the nature around and make an atmosphere inside more cosy. [Felipe Assadi]

Modern Wooden House Designed Around a Deck
Deck House is an another great project by Chilean architect Felipe Assadi. Like some other his projects and a lot of other houses in Chile it has an open plan and large gazing in order to make nature around it more closer. Although the house also has a beautiful and practical desk which isn’t usually as big as this one. Like the whole house it’s made of wood and has built-in swimming pool. It is also has an inclined area which is a perfect place to sunbathing without a lounge chair. The deck is connected to the house’s floor to form a wood-clad object with glass that connects it. A living area, a kitchen and a dining room are combined to save some space without losing in spaciousness. [Felipe Assadi]

Contemporary Modern House in Chilean Countryside – Gatica House
This contemporary modern house is designed by Felipe Assadi and located in beautiful Chilean countryside. It consists of two parts for the family and their three sons families. The first one, which takes place in a line composed of the access, dinging halls and common master bedroom, is called the “main house”. The second one is a part that inserted literally within the volume whose main use is preferably weekend. The interior and exterior both has all features of contemporary modern design. They made of modern materials, has simple, minimalist shapes and all elements are placed where they should. Color theme is also chosen according to contemporary design trends but not usual for Chile.
