Japanese company TNA Architects mostly creates non-standard architecture projects. Although that could be not only unusually shaped houses like surrealistic house but also projects on rough landscape without changing it. Weekend house in Karuizawa is one of them. It was finished in 2008 on very steep slope almost without support. That was possible because of steel frame which connect with the ground on one side. Interior and exterior are made from wood. Like in other TNA projects there is lack of furniture inside which create minimalistic but very comfy because of natural wood interior.

Paco is Japanese step in small houses. It’s designed by Jo Nagasaka+Schemata Architecture Office and has a size of container house (3m²). It brings minimalist design in such container houses. Paco has open roof and autonomous infrastructure what made it perfect to put in your garden or on your favorite surf place. There are plenty of similar small houses on the market and only time will show is there a place for one more with different, minimalist design.

There are plenty of kitchen appliances nowadays that are metallic (steel, chrome, etc…) colored. Not every color gamma is good with such appliances. Usually people choose any gamma and try to contrast it with all appliances but in my opinion that isn’t the best way. Japanese kitchen producer Tayo Kitchen which have awesome dark kitchen designs under their belt has much better idea. They Porto collection is a great combination of gray, white, black and metallic colored cabinets and furniture that all together perfectly supplement each other. Their showcases are great example of kitchen designs to gather inspiration from.

Surrealistic House in Japan
This house is build in Japan in 2006 by TNA Architects. It is 84.5 m² private residence consisting of 3 stories almost without straight lines and 90 degrees angles outside. The house is very minimalistic inside. Lack of furniture create feeling that the house is bigger than it is. From the outside the house looks very very uncommon. There aren’t many surrealistic houses around because not many people would like to live in such one. Although owners of this house definitely are gathering their looks.
