This house is designed with outside and inside integration in mind. It’s located in Buenos Aires, Argentina so the weather isn’t complication in that. Its exterior incorporates only natural materials like stone and wood and consists of bearing walls and steel columns that allow greater openness to the garden. The load-bearing walls are made in stone, providing greater insulation and waterproof. The house is oriented north to catch beautiful lake views with floor-to-ceiling windows. The house’s shape is two blocks connected with entrance. The house features as public areas as private spaces as for adults as for their kids. Escaping from modern city life was always popular but lately becoming more and more important thanks to technological progress. Murdock Young Architects designed an amazing house for a family with a close friends who wants spend a weekend or a week close to a beautiful Michigan lake with a great nature around.
4,500-square-foot main house with 50-foot lap pool, an 1800-square-foot three-bedroom guest house, and a barn are situated in front of the lake. Each structure centers on a great room open to the northern water views and the southern sun and breezes. The structures combine modern design with white-painted wood, large expanses of glass, painted pine board walls, exposed structural trusses, gray-painted pine floors, and driftwood-clad storage elements that subdivide the interiors.
