My mind instantly conjures up the song “Somewhere over the rainbow” when I look at the L’Arco Della Pace Bookshelf. This visually stunning bookshelf catches the eye and captures the heart thanks to the charming rainbow hues. Built by Martino Gampe, the L’Arco has its roots in history since the architectural elements are no coincidence and seeks to replicate the Arco della Pace which is part of the Piazza Sempione in Milan. Measuring 124″ h x 87″ w, the bookshelf is constructed of vibrantly colored veneered poplar plywood segments which makes it the anti-thesis of the usually traditional shelves.
